Stampin' Space

I finally was able to get my stamping table cleaned off and set up so DD and I can stamp at the same time. It is a little cozy but when I'm finished "flinging" in here it should get a little less crowded.

My DS#1, the carpenter, is working on a project for me. I can't wait for him to get it finished so I can post a pic. Until then, you will have to be content seeing what I've accomplished so far.

When It Rains It Pours

I received an e-mail today from the lady who runs the church bookstore. Pastor contacted her asking if she could redesign the bookstore to include my cards! WOWZERS! He wants a whole area set up to display them, both packaged sets and individual cards. I guess this means he liked his birthday card!

Looks like I'll need to be hanging around SCS gallery a lot in the near future!

Supporting my Habit

I love to stamp and scrap! However, these two things take a great deal of time and money. I can't put more hours in my day but it looks as if I'm finally going to be earning a few bucks to help put back into paying for supplies.

I fulfilled a card order today for 12 cards. She loved them and paid me!!! Then, I received an e-mail from my DSIL wondering if I would make her parents a scrapbbok for their 50th anniversary. SURE!

Her and her mom will sort and label all the photos and put them into envelopes. My brother will deliver all the pics to me in March when he comes to town on business. I have until September to get the book done. She didn't say how much she will pay me, but she said she would make it worth my while. I told her a dollar amount per page for supplies and how much time I estimate it will take per page. Hopefully it will be profitable as well as lots of fun.

Guess I'd best keep FLYing in my craft room so that it will be nice and organized come mid-March when the fun begins!!!
